Statistics: Russia’s inflation at 0.2% March 30 — Monday

MOSCOW, Apr 7 (PRIME) -- Russia’s inflation remained flat at 0.2% from March 30 until Monday for a third week in a row and reached 2.2% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement on Wednesday.

Egg prices grew by 2.1%, chicken prices by 0.4%, sugar 0.5%, oil by 0.5%, wheat flour by 0.2%, bread by 0.3%.

Prices for fruit and vegetables did not change on average. Carrot prices rose by 2.8%, potato by 2.5%, white cabbage by 2%, onions by 1.5%. Prices for tomatoes decreased by 2.2%, cucumbers 2%, apples by 0.1%.
